Imam Mahdi (as): The Only Path to Global Security
Again, the world is paying for its deeds. Widespread global unrest, murders, killings, plunder, pillage, confusion, commotion, shortages and scarcities in the market, high prices of commodities, unreliability, straitening of sustenance, etc. are all results and consequences of human vices and misdeeds. Allah the Almighty has drawn the attention of man towards this stark reality in the Holy Quran long back. "Mischief is manifest in the land and the sea for what the people have earned. " (Surah Rome (30), Verse 41)

Does God exist in reality?
God, in Islamic teachings, neither possesses any limbs, nor is He made of stone, or any such matter. Neither does He reside anywhere, nor is He the first and neither is He the last. He is not stationary, nor is He in motion. No place is devoid of His existence, nor can it be said about any location that, it is here that God exists.

Khake-Shifa – Its Merits and Goodness
It can be inferred that Karbala is the name of a particular region whose limits are stipulated. No place on earth can vie with its greatness and sanctity. But even in this region the greatness which is enjoyed by the grave of Imam Husain (a.s) cannot be equaled by the other places. Same is said by Imams (a.s). Ishaq Bin Ammad relates from Imam Sadiq (a.s) that: "The place where Husain Bin Ali (peace be upon them) is buried, since the day he is hurried is regarded as a Garden of Paradise. It is also one of the doors of Paradise."

Importance of Taqleed
Taqleed becomes necessary largely due to the average Muslim’s inability to comprehend and derive Islamic laws all by himself. Given man’s hectic lifestyle, it would take a better part of his lifetime to study the Quran and traditions in order to formulate these laws and statutes. Taqleed, therefore, affords the Muslim a more viable and logical option. However, one thing that must be borne in mind is that this compliance with (the jurist) is for practical tenets (Furu-e-Deen) only and not for one’s beliefs.

Knowledge, Pride and Good Neighbours
Muslims, invariably, feature last in the pursuit of knowledge and excellence. On the contrary, pursuit of wealth and luxuries seems to be their sole objective. Unfortunately, this very wealth and affluence for a Muslim, ultimately acts as the greatest barrier for seeking knowledge and more often than not, he ends up gaining neither. So enamored is he with this opulence that he is prepared to barter even his religion and faith for it. However, the tradition mentioned above, implies the exact opposite i.e. wisdom is (real) wealth.
