Hadith:
Imam Amir ul Mu'mineen Ali (a.s.) says, "When our Qaim rises, the sky will send down its drops, the earth will grow its plants, enmity will come out from the servants' hearts (in order that they live in peace and brotherly love), and savages and beasts will continue to live together peacefully.... " (Behaarul Anwar, vol. 52, p. 316)

Quran and the belief in Qiyamat

Human beings being raised after death: We have already mentioned instances of the dead earth coming back to life by sprucing forth vegetation, as well as birds and now we shall talk about an incident from the Quran where humans were raised after being dead for many years. 'Have you not considered those who went forth from their home, for fear of death and they were thousands, the Allah said to them, "Die" again He gave them life. Surely Allah is gracious to people?"
(Sura-e-Baqarah : 243)

Joining relations (Sila-e-Rahem)

We see that Imam Jafar Sadiq (a.s.) at the time of his death made a will stating '?after my death give 70 dinars to my cousin brother (paternal uncle's son) Hasan.' When he was asked. 'Master you are bestowing to the one who had attacked you with the sword!'

Imam (a.s.) answered 'What! Do you not want me to be included among those about whom Allah has said - and those people who have been ordered by Allah to do Silhe Rahem, they continue to do it.'

The Meaning of the title of Imam Zaman (a.s.)

In our prayers (Dua) and in day to day conversation this assumed name is directly and closely linked with our exalted Imam Mahdi (a.s.). No sooner as we hear or utter this noble appellation attention is at once drawn to the Awaited Imam (a.s.). Imam-e-Zaman, Imam-e-Asr, Saheb-e-Asr and Vali-e-Asr are all synonyms and directly attached with the last Savior. We have become accustomed to hear them but have never bothered to know the facts related with them. It is because of this reason that doubts are germinating in our minds. Once the actual meaning is grasped our minds will never be clouded with such notions. - Read More

Reason behind the steadfastness of the martyrs of Karbala

Thus this was the power that emboldened everyone from Imam Husain (a.s.) to Janabe Ali Asghar (a.s.) and even the Ethiopian slave. Imam Husain (a.s.) was Imam Husain (a.s.) but even the young children and the women did not for a moment utter, "Master! Thirst is killing us! Please pay allegiance!" Although, to avoid all the difficulties and calamities was quite easy - to pledge allegiance to Yazid. Apparently it was a trivial barter. Yet for Imam Husain (a.s.) and his followers, it was a tough bargain and a divine transaction. In other words it meant "the death of Islam!" and if Imam Husain (a.s.) had even the slightest doubt in the truth and real?ity of Islam, he would have caused the blood of Islam to be spilt like a cool drink, and he would not have given his blood and that of his children. Even after it is washed in the blood of Imam Husain (a.s.), isn't the face of Islam visible to you with its light of truth and bright countenance? - Read More
